Computing
KAIRA operates using a distributed IT system. Computers may be added/removed as they are introduced into the network or are decommissiioned. A similar arrangement is made for storage. When units are running and online, their status is shown on this page.

Entries in the above table that are blank are units that are (or have been) in service but are currently offline or otherwise unavailable. Additional labels are included, but are marked "reserved" or "not allocated", to indicate their status. /kdata000 to /kdata019 are existing disks that have been archived. Typically, they contain development backups or operational data from the early days of KAIRA operation (2010-2013). /kdata050 to /kdata059 are reserved numbers for future development. Numbers /kdata060 and over are unallocated.

Some computing data is directly relevant to the KAIRA site and the specfically the electronics and signal processing required to keep the station operational. These units ingest raw data from the phased arrays and the following parameters pertain to them and the environment required to support them.
