Technical information

This section of the website contains technical information on the KAIRA system. Click on the links on the left-hand side to access the different pages. The instrument parameters page contains general information about KAIRA, such as its geographic coordinates, array parameters, frequency ranges, numbers of channels, etc..

For real-time monitoring of the KAIRA system, use the Monitor link from the menu-bar above.

Details of the construction and technical capability of the instrument can be found either in the KAIRA reference paper or in the design operations and first scientific results, which is available from the UiT Munin archive. The latter work also contains a detailed discription of the construction of the facility, which is listed in Appendix E therein.
