SGO Series

Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory has own publication serie, mainly used to publish geomagnetic results of the observatory. The original name of this serie is: Veröffentlichungen des geophysikalischen Observatoriums der Finnischen Akademie der Wissenschaften. The name is in German because that was the official language of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, the organisation which established the observatory at 1913. The first publication in this serie was printed at 1921.
Since year 1998, after observatory had been joined to the University of Oulu, this publication serie has name: Sodankylä Geophysical Observatory Publications ISSN 1456-3673.

Observatory's own report serie: Sodankylä Reports was used in years 1972 - 1996.
